T. Boone Pickens Abandons Wind for Natural Gas

This interview¬† marks a major change for one of wind power’s biggest backers. According to the article, Pickens has canceled the remaining wind turbine orders he had with GE and is now focusing on natural gas. He says natural gas is too cheap to make wind power profitable and doesn’t think it will get back to a healthy equilibrium until natural gas gets to $4-$6 (which he suggests could happen in 2016).
